Australia backs the innovative inverter system from PADCON GmbH

Kitzingen: The Australian PV market, which is mainly characterised by small, decentralised photovoltaic plants, has made a big step towards the future in renewable power plant construction with the commissioning of the 5-megawatt open-area plant near Perth.
With the PADCON inverter system, “INVERTER SKID SOLUTION”, power production costs have been significantly reduced and the installation and commissioning have been considerably accelerated. As a result of the innovative system design, PADCON has been able to supply inverter stations worldwide with a size of up to 2MW incl. medium voltage transformer via standard transport routes. The installation in the solar park of the “INVERTER SKID SOLUTION” preassembled, fully wired and pre-commissioned ex works is completed in a time-saving way with conventional vehicles and requires no heavy goods equipment.
The system made in Germany, which has been developed and produced as a ready-to-use complete solution, ensures smooth operation and effective monitoring of the plant parameters.
With the implementation of this project, PADCON proves that even faraway markets can be supplied cost-effectively with our systems, PADCON GmbH Head of Sales Thomas Dorsch emphasises.
Having tapped into the Australian photovoltaic market, PADCON is now represented in 20 countries, on all continents.
